Quick Start Guide

Whether you are creating a book, a newsletter or a report you will be guided through the same 8 simple steps. (If creating a report you have the option to not include a cover. This will skip step 2). The different product types will offer different designs, layouts and options suited to the particular type of document you are creating.


The steps in creating your product are:
 

  1. Choosing your product type. You can select either a Book, Newsletter or Report.

  2. Choosing a cover. This section will allow you to choose from a selection of cover designs suited to the type of product you are creating.

  3. Personalizing your document. This includes uploading images, giving your document a title and other options depending on your product type.

  4. Choosing a layout. This section offers options for the layout and design of your product's pages. The layout designs you can choose from will be suited for the type of product you are creating.

  5. Uploading your document. This section is the same regardless of the type of document you are creating. You will be able to upload the contents of your book, newsletter or report in DOC, DOCX, RTF or ODT formats or you can copy and paste it.

  6. Editing the contents of your document. Here you will be able to edit the contents of your uploaded docx file. If you chose to just copy and paste your document in step 5, this is the section you will be taken to.

  7. Previewing your document. Here you will be able to preview your document and if everything looks good you can use a credit to publish it.

  8. Publishing your product. Download your document in PDF, Kindle, EPUB or HTML formats. You can also download just the cover of your document as a PNG or PDF file.
